New Directions is designed for those whose progress in a more intensive level of care warrants a step-down to a less intensive level of care, for those who are preparing for entry into a higher level of care, those who are in the early stage of change, and who are not yet ready to commit to full recovery, or those who are demonstrating passive compliance or are considering leaving treatment.
