Montgomery Public Schools Home Instruction for Parents of Preschool Youngsters Program

HIPPY (Home Instruction Program for Parents of Preschool Youngsters) is for the parents of pre-school aged children. HIPPY is a in home based program provided by Montgomery Public Schools. It is delivered by parent educators to participating parents in the comfort of their home. Parent Educators meet with parents weekly to role-play the HIPPY lessons. The parent works with his or her child for 15 minutes a day, five days a week, teaching them from the HIPPY lessons. Parent group meetings are held that provide beneficial information to help families grow and thrive. The program, its curriculum, and all activities associated with it are 100% free to participating families.
