Head Start and Early Head Start - Community Action Partnership of North Alabama

The Head Start and Early Head Start programs, operated by the Community Action Partnership of North Alabama, exist to provide high quality, infant/toddler and preschool services to low-income children and families. We serve pregnant women and children ages birth to 5 years old - free of charge. Our comprehensive services promote school readiness, health/dental care, proper nutrition, mental health, social-emotional development, and family engagement opportunities. Our programs are located throughout 15 North Alabama counties. Head Start provides a full day/full week program (30 hours) for eligible children ages 3 to 5 years old. Early Head Start provides a full day/full week program (30 hours) for eligible infants/toddlers’ birth to 3 years old and pregnant women.
