The goals of the program are addressed through grant activities that include changing knowledge, attitudes, and behaviors through Gatekeeper Training; youth awareness training; increasing public awareness of crisis centers and their services; developing strong partnerships and collaborations with child and youth-supporting organizations; developing communication messages for teachers, administrators, students, and parents about resources available for referrals and mental health screenings.
