Alabama's Early Intervention System

A program of the Alabama Department of Rehabilitation Services. Early Intervention (EI) provides supports and services for infants and toddlers birth to age 3 (0 to 36 months of age) who have a medical diagnosis that can delay normal development, or who have a developmental delay causing the child to not meet developmental milestones.

Ages served: Prenatal (before birth), Infant (0-12 months), Toddler (13-25 months), Preschooler (3-5 years)
