Vivian B. Adams School

Since opening its doors in 1971, the Vivian B. Adams School (VBAS) has been a pioneer in meeting the needs of individuals with intellectual disabilities. As the only school of its kind in Alabama, VBAS is unique in its ability to serve individuals with intellectual disabilities from birth through adulthood in a setting that provides both intellectual and social growth opportunities.
