Alabama Farm to ECE

Farm to Early Care and Education (ECE) is a set of strategies and activities that promote increased access to healthy, local foods through local purchasing, gardening opportunities, and food and agriculture education activities to enhance the quality of the educational experience for children in child care. The Alabama Farm to ECE Coalition wants to improve children's access to healthy, local foods, providing them with the best possible start in life while supporting the Alabama economy. The Alabama Farm to Early Care and Education Coalition enriches early learning experiences by fostering the implementation of gardens, food education, and farm education activities.
